Samsung has launched two new laptops with powerful specifications and amazing graphics. The new laptops – Ativ Book 9 Pro and Ativ Book 9 Spin are powered by Intel Core i7 6700 HQ processor. Ativ Book 9 Spin is an ultraportable 13-inch laptop with 360 degree movement of the screen.
Ativ Book 9 Pro features sixth generation Intel Core i7 processor and amazing graphics. The laptop weighs 4.45 pounds and has a thin profile. Samsung Ativ Book 9 Pro is powered by Nvidia GeForce GTX 950M graphics. Ativ Book 9 Spin features Intel Core i7 6500U processor that is nearly as powerful as the CPU on the Book 9 Pro. It is lighter at 2.87 pounds. Powered by Intel HD Graphics, the new Samsung laptop features 12.39x8.69 inch screen.
To improve speed, Samsung has offered 256GB SSD as default in both the models. Both laptops feature 8 GB RAM which can be upgraded as well.
The new laptops from Samsung will compete with Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro and Toshiba Satellite Radius 12. Both the laptops come with Microsoft Windows 10.
A LaptopMag review of the newly launched models said, “As we've seen with a lot of super-slim, super-light notebooks with high-res displays, battery life takes a hit, and it looks like the ATIV Book is no different. Samsung estimates that the ATIV Book 9 will last up to 7.3 hours on a charge (using a MobileMark 2014 test); that's about on a par with the Yoga 3 Pro, which lasted 6:29 on the Laptop Mag Battery Test (Web surfing via Wi-Fi with the screen at 100 nits), but better than the Toshiba (a below-average 5:17).”
Ativ Book 9 Pro has starting price of $1,599. Ativ Book 9 Spin has starting price of $1,399.
