For $1,699 To Compete Against The MacBook Pro

HP unveiled its latest lineup of laptops at a press even in New York City on Wednesday, including the ZBook Studio mobile workstation that will compete against Apple's 15-inch MacBook Pro.
HP's new 15.6-inch notebook is super-thin, only 18 mm thick and weighs in at 4.4 pounds. The Book Studio runs on an Intel Core i7 Skylake or Xeon desktop-strength processor, with up to 32 GB of RAM and up to 2 TB of storage with the HP Z Turbo Drive G2.
The ZBook Studio can have either an HP DreamColor UHD or Full HD with battery such as HP WY165AA Battery, HP 619438-001 Battery, HP HSTNN-OB53 Battery, HP KU528AA Battery, HP HSTNN-IB64 Battery, HP Pavilion DV3000 Battery, HP BQ350AA Battery, HP HSTNN-IB82 Battery, HP Pavilion dv3 Battery, HP NB801AA Battery, HP NU089AA Battery, HP HSTNN-OB93 Batterytouchscreen display. The laptop is targeted toward consumers who use portable computers to do heavy workloads, such as video editors or digital designers. It can be equipped with either Nvidia's Quadro M1000M with 2 GB of its own GDDR5 memory to for 4K display capable of more than eight million colors or Intel HD graphics 530.
The new flagship laptop also is compatible with Thunderbolt 3 and has ports for an Ethernet cable, three USB 3.0, HDMI 1.4 and a SDXC card reader.
The ZBook Studio starts at $1,699 when it goes on sale in December.
HP wasn't shy about taking gabs at its competition, saying that Apple has been focusing on everyday consumers rather than business professionals.
"Apple continues to abandon the professional market, and leaves a huge expansion opportunity for our business in media and entertainment, video production, 3D animation, and even in a situation where broadcast is looking to upgrade to a more reliable solution," HP VP Jeff Wood said during the event.
HP also revealed three more mobile workstations that will be added to its lineup, including the third-generation HP Book 15 G3, the HP Book 15U and HP Book 17 G3.
The HP Book 15 G3 weighs in at 5.7 pounds and is one inch thick, with 64 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage.
The HP Book 15U, the company's ultrabook, has a 15.6-inch display as well with 1.5 TB of total storage, can be powered with Intel Xeon processors and will retail for $1,099 when it hits shelves in January.
The HP Book 17 G3 has a larger 17.3-inch screen, is lighter, thinner and has 67 percent better battery life than its predecessor.
Prices and release dates are not yet known for the HP Book 15 and 17 models.
